WeiserMazars LLP Selects Ron Ries as Partner of Not-for-Profit Group
Accounting, tax and advisory services firm, WeiserMazars LLP, recently announced it has named Ron Ries as Partner of its Not-for-Profit Group in efforts to strengthen its ties to the nonprofit sector.

Accounting, tax and advisory services firm, WeiserMazars LLP, recently announced it has named Ron Ries as Partner of its Not-for-Profit Group in efforts to strengthen its ties to the nonprofit sector. Ries has more than 20 years of expertise working with nonprofit organizations, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services.
“Our Not-for-Profit Group is well positioned to meet the unique needs of this sector and Ron’s expertise will complement the skills of our existing team,” said Mitchell Lewis, partner-in-charge, Not-for-Profit Group, WeiserMazars. “Ron’s hands-on experience in the not-for-profit field will provide us with additional insight into the unique accounting and management issues of clients in this space, allowing us to closely tailor our services to their needs.”
Ries currently sits on the board of several nonprofit organizations and chairs the annual AICPA Not-for-Profit Financial Executive Forum. He serves as chair of the Audit Committee for Selfhelp Community Services and treasurer for Wall Street Technology Association.
